Camcorder - low light, mic input

Hello folks, Happy New Year!
Looking to buy a camcorder with these features.
Any recommendations gratefully received.
I looked at the zoom q8 but not great reviews of the video quality and not sure how expensive they need to get to have a mic input.
Mainly to be used in low-light pub basement type conditions for music and for self-taping video lesson applications as well as general holiday stills and vids.
Thanks! .
