Beware the £35 auto renewal clause if you just want the £1 trial

Hoping this is the right place as need advice quickly before chancing my arm. My husband and I have a Tastecard offering 2 for 1 at Pizza Express. After school today we are taking my granddaughter out and she never manages to eat the whole child's menu and just wants a starter and dessert. If my husband and her have a starter, he and I have a main course and he and her have a dessert, would it be unreasonable to expect that it falls within the 2 for 1 deal as it generally just covers two people. Maybe I'm just being greedy but I want to keep costs down. My treat will be a large gin and tonic, lol.0

So much this. These sneaky b******s refuse to return any money paid and will issue no reminder whatsoever that your membership is about to renew. If you are foolhardy enough to take up the trial offer, make sure you cancel it immediately - you can still use the card, but it won't auto-renew.
If you've been scammed by Tastecard, make sure you leave them a Trustpilot review airing your displeasure. They are currently gaming the system by inviting new subscribers who haven't even used their cards yet to leave positive reviews.
Write a quick (or detailed) one here: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/tastecard.co.uk
