Best way to stop furniture getting "sticky"

Such as plastic or leather? I have a massage chair though not sure if its plastic of leather and it can get sticky lets say I sit on it in morning without my dressing gown on and just my pyjama bottoms, its a sticky sensation like sweat

Did try wiping it down with hot water which helped a tiny bit but the water itself feels sticky when dried.

Comments

  • maybe spray some furniture polish but if it's real leather get one specially for leather, either way spray on work it in with a cloth then buff it up afterwards to get rid of any residue
  • For leather what works for me is mixing a bowl of water with mild soap, rub it against the sticky spots and dab with a clean cloth.
