Hi, I was looking for some opinions. My wife and I our looking to purchase a property for £355,000 and we will have £175,000 as a deposit after the sale of our property. Meaning we will need a mortgage of £180,000.
Our combined income is approximately £56k per annum. However I have some defaults on my file, the most recent is just under two years old. The rest our 4 or 5 years old.
Do you think there will be any chance of us getting a mortgage for this amount. Thank you for your help.

Low risk in terms of LTV, I would expect a high street solution for you, dependant on the size and type of default.
Either way, speak to a broker and let them research and review the market for youI am a Mortgage Broker.

We have been recommended that we use precise for our mortgage, would any recommend getting a 2nd opinion?
