Will adding me to the title deed a) financially link me and b) affect my DMP?

I'm getting married next week, and have a query about the house situation.
I've lived in his home, which he owns outright, since he bought it in August 2015. We've treated it as our shared home ever since, and when he lost his job I've been paying all of the bills etc myself for two years.
However...
I'm on a DMP with about £16k still outstanding. I'm making regular monthly payments but still have about 6 years to go.
I have no problem with not being on the title deeds of the house, but I'm curious: if I go on the title deeds, or register a matrimonial interest on the property, does this a) link me to him financially, and b) affect my status on DMP as I'd technically become a homeowner? I don't want to financially link myself, as he has good credit and we want to buy a house in the next 18 months or so. (He would be applying for the mortgage in his name, there's no chance a lender would take me on). Again, the deeds would be in his name, which is fine by me, but I'd still face the same questions as now, about being a homeowner etc.
When we're married, do I say that I'm a homeowner even if my name isn't on the deeds? We pay equally to all bills and upkeep. Or should I not say that I'm a homeowner as that affects my debts? I can't see either one as being untrue (as I technically own by marriage assets, but also not technically own if I'm not on the deeds), so I'm unsure which is the most financially beneficial.
Thanks so much for any input!

You are in a debt management plan and you are considering adding an asset like your husbands property to your estate?

I'm not considering it, I was genuinely just curious where I stand when I get married. As far as I'm concerned everything can stay in his name, but where does that put me in terms of the box I can tick on application forms etc when it comes to 'homeowner' or 'private tenant' - as I'd assumed 'tenant' implies rent, which I don't pay, and homeowner implies name on the deeds, which I don't have.0

What forms?
You will be 'living with family'.I am a Mortgage Broker

Insurance forms, for one thing. I'll have lower insurance as 'homeowner' as compared to 'tenant', and 'living with family' is commonly not an option.
In addition, would I need to then inform my existing credit card company, for example, that I am a homeowner (even without my name on the deed)? I am on a long-term DMP, I have two credit cards that I use very little of every month, paid in full, as a credit rebuilding exercise. The same goes for a phone contract, as another example.0
