Garlic tablets & capsules - and allicin

A while since we had a thread on this.

Any thoughts on the differences between tablets and capsules (apart from the obvious one) and where the best value is to be had?

Also on the allicin content - reckoned to be crucial.

A lot of information out there on the benefits, or otherwise, of taking garlic supplements (if you're not getting the real thing) - most of it probably bogus. I wonder what the truth of the matter is?
