Facecream suggestion needed

I love the Elemis range, but my goodness do I hate the prices! What's a good alternative?
What I like about Elemis is predominantly the smell -- or rather lack of ghastly perfume smell. They use "essential oils" that have a nice, but subtle fragrance. I use the pro intense range to stop sagging skin and it "works" in as much as any anti-ageing cream can be said to "work".
My Mum once had a jar of Oil of Ulay (sic) on her dressing table and the smell from that jar would make you sick. I can't imagine putting that stuff on your face and carrying the smell around with you all day.
Hoping you'll be able to suggest a good "anti-ageing" range that smells pleasant, but subtle, and doesn't break the bank.

I like Elemis, but can only use the Pro Colagen range, the other breaks me out. I can't even use the cheap stuff again breaks me out.
QVC do easy pay and Special Value sets, next on is next month.
Ebay you can pick up pieces at good prices. If it's the smell you cannot stand from other brands then go for sensitive they usually don't have fragrance added. Also the smell of the cream only lasts a few seconds on the skin before it disappears.0 -
I find the Simple Day and Night creams are good and only around £4.990

You could try the Replenish range from Healthspan. There's a 25% discount code posted on the codes board.
Their products are guaranteed so that if the products don't agree with you they will refund.

I have sensitive skin and have the used Aldi range of face cream for some years now. Pretty good and won't break the bank.0

I have very sensitive dry skin, I use decleor and stock up when allbeauty have a decent sale on.0

I would love that my skin would love Elemis, but it doesn't , it burns me

I keep going back to Liz Earle with Decleor at night when my skin is really stressed0 -
Thanks for the suggestions, a few to look at.
I know that there are often "deals" on Elemis stuff, but even then £100 for a pot of cream is a lot of money.
I've eBay successfully in the past, but you have to be so careful with fakes especially when smearing on your face.0 -
I've been using a few products from Green People's anti-ageing range and have been impressed although I couldn't say what they'll be like as I get older (I'm using them for the beginnings of wrinkles and laughter lines). They all have light, natural smells and they're gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Weleda are similar too, but they don't do the more targeted products, just general 'older skin' type ones.0

Have a look at The Ordinary
http://theordinary.com/
I've recommended their products before. No smell at all from the products I've had and there is a good advice sheet on the website with recommendations for products.0
