Endowment with Scottish Provident

Hi all, I'm new to this site and can't believe how good it is. Has anybody had much success with claiming for wrongful selling from Scottish Provident. I am told by a work colleague that there is a cut off date for endowments. Mine was sold to me in September 1988. I was going to go through one of the dreaded claim companys as I thought my case was a complicated one, considering my endowment was sold to me by a Lloyds Worker of some sort, in a Lloyds estate agency, I think. The name 'Lloyds Bowmaker' keeps ringing in my head, but I'm not sure. Can anybody help me as I'm not 100% about this name being the sellers name. I'm now trying to find all of the original paperwork, though after two moves this is proving tricky. I can only seem to come up with info from Scott Prov so far, I'll keep searching.
Thanks to anyone in advance.

Ask Scotprov who sold you the endowment, they will know as they will still be paying him trail commission, unless of course he was working technically as a "tied agent" of SP at the time, in which case your letter of complaint should go to SP.IIRC you are OK to claim time wise (just!)
You can easily do it yourself.See the Which guide.
