I arrived in Oxford on the 22nd, and apart from one coffee at costa coffee whilst trying to get in touch with my aunt so I could get to where she lives, and a single bus ticket of £2.60, I have not spent a single penny. Weather has been miserable admittedly so we haven't left the bungalow except for when I came back to my B&B each night. Nether the less I have had a really enjoyable and relaxing time watching squirrels in the garden and listening birds tweeting in the trees.2026 Goals

I do have a second job with NHSP but that is as and when I want, and will be used towards debt payments.
I have chosen to remove my candle/toiletry making out of the budget, as I have decided to plan to go into business with it, which means the costs will totally change as I am planning long term with it and bulk purchases rather than hobbist purchase such as 1lt of essential oil compared to 10mls of essential oil...

Well I can tell its seriously overcast as my sensor light has come on in the dining room, during the day it doesn't normally come on once the curtains are open until 4ish.
I finally have my son cutting the wood for me so I can get shelves built into the alcoves in my dining room, I only bought all the stuff back in Oct/Nov time. It is annoying that it takes me having to have a melt down, before people actually help me. Now I just need to find the drill so I can get the shelves put up. I don't just want to be debt free this year, I also want to be able to have my home organized.2026 Goals

Good luck with building your credit score Penny and loved the fact that you have put the numbers in your thread and can monitor your progress. I may do that on my diary as like you I am looking to get a mortgage once debt paid off and credit score improved.Make £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£3100

I have been using my credit card for business I want to set up, so thought I had best stick new total down on my dairy so as not to stick my head in the sand. I am only using the CC for any business costs. I know this is not seen as the cheapest way to start a business but for now it is the only way I can.2026 Goals
