Help,
So on Christmas Eve I receive 1500 emails, whilst ploughing through them I find catalogue orders totalling £1200 on my studio account and emails notifying me that I have change my address and phone number my email . I ring studio up straightaway who at first didn’t want to talk to me because I didn’t have the right address until I screamed down the phone to them now I think it’s being investigated for fraud but They don’t seem to be in any rush to sort it out or cancel the orders .
Would you say my email has been hacked all these weird emails have now stopped it was only one day. Same day orders are placed . However they done it it has really freaked me out I am now constantly checking everything and want to get rid of every unused credit account I have which is proving difficult because no one wants to close any accounts . Studio all being absolutely useless it’s almost like they do not care it’s unbelievable person even ordered insurance for the PlayStation four they ordered . Any advice .? I contacted the police who didn’t want to know I then contacted the fraud National helpline who basically stayed until they receive the goods no one wants to know

First, change your email password, and all your passwords everywhere really + enable 2-factor authentication (codes via mobile phone) wherever possible. Don't do it later, do it now.
Then go to the police and report the crime. If they will refuse, demand to get the refusal on paper - that will make them get to work. Without reporting this to the police you won't be able to untangle this mess, and will likely be liable for a lot of things soon.0 -
As well as the above you need to involve action fraud as well :

Edit.
in fact all you need do is report via action fraud as they now give you a police crime reference number.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Probably best to remember it’s the holiday season, and the CS agent you spoke to in the phone isn’t the person who is going to be looking into your fraud report.
It’s not so much they aren’t in a hurry to look into it, more that people aren’t at work at the moment.
