They're being honest about that "Unfortunately you may have to enter a hundred competitions just to win one, so a huge part of the attraction needs to be the thrill of the chase" for a change. instead of convincing newbies they're going to get rich after theit first week of comping.
Writer doesn't know the difference between a soundbite and a slogan though.
