Expensive, I know, but lots of the items on sale should have an extended use by date as they are typical 'long masters' e.g. kilner jars of mincemeat, Christmas Cakes, Preserves etc

    Harrods also do this after Christmas but sadly it would cost me too much to get into London from where I live in deepest darkest Kent :):):)

    Just to say that I was offered a FnM stem ginger biscuit (not even a fan of the flavour) yesterday and it really was a cut above ;)
