    Pensions do not have PPI.
The only possible bolt ons to a pension are life assurance and waiver of contribution (neither of which is PPI)
Second part is can a widow claim for the pension or the money which was used as a deposit?

You will need to explain that one more. What type of pension? Deposit for what?

  • The money put into the account of the pension was £900 which was put in about the 80’s and has been left since then and never withdrawn. And this was with the group called winterthur which has been bought out and renamed numerous times now.

if the pension was never drawn on, then the investment value will still be there waiting to be drawn. The insurer needs to be notified of the death to start the process.
