Last August to be precise was when I made the last payment back for our move to the bungalow.....at one point we were £20,000 in to the bank,:eek: who, although we were making all our payments on time, persuaded us to take a loan and pay off our car etc in 2012, its taken me 5 years, but we are there at last. and paid off early, thus saving interest.
My OH says I have turned into scrooge checking everyday our growing balance in the bank account!!
If we can do it so can anyone else. I did what Martin recommended and overpaid as much as I could each month, it was not easy at times, especially when I was having to pay sky high car parking charges and extra fuel when OH was in hospital and having to attend for appointments etc. Thankfully, apart from my yearly pacemaker check we are appointment free........
Heres to a good 2018.........
