Hi,
I am aware that I need to pay if it I end the mortgage early and that is fine.. However?
I am currently selling my house, but this will be about 7 months before I can avoid the EPF. I will be renting instead of buyinga new house and the mortgage would therefore be settled outright.
Can anyone advise if it is possible to continue paying the mortgage as normal until the time the EPF expires even though I would no longer own a house? or could I perhaps pay a big lump sump but leave a small remaining amount that I pay monthly off the mortgage until the EPF?
I currently have a Bristol and West Self Cert 3 year product
Any help/tips/clarification of the above is appreciated!!
Cheers

There will be no security in place for the mortgage once you sell the house. Your mortgage will terminate once you sell the house, and you will have to pay the off mortage when the sale completes."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
