Mortgage insurance and PPI

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker

I took out a mortgage with Abbey -and had insurance which should pay off much of the mortgage (endowment policy) when the time was up. Is it worth trying to claim PPI?

    Endowments are not PPI , do you think you were "mis-sold" the endowment in some way? Has the endowment performed in the way you were led to believe it would?

    Endowment mortgages didn't have PPI.

    You might have had a separate policy that was some kind of MPPI but we don't know.

    I'm guessing by the wording of the OP they know very little about what an endowment really is, sounds like they didn't make sure they understood what it was they were buying. I'm guessing the answer to your question will be "Yes" regardless, OP is obviously seeing the pound signs.
