Thank you for a helpful response and prompting me to look at ombudsman cases.
I live in Scotland near glasgow. I don't think that my family circumstances or the negative equity are the brokers fault I was merely painting a picture.0 -
Multiple replies without quoting is a bit pointless, we have no idea who you are responding to.0

Tadley Baggie, a quick look at my profile shows this is my first day using this forum. I used quick reply assuming it would tag who I was responding to.0

Welcome to the forum. Please don't take comments to heart. The overwhelmingly number of posters are here to help. As the mortgages forum matters tend to be dealt with in a matter of fact way. Everyone has a different posting style. The written word can be unintendingly harsh to the reader. We all have life and work experiences to share.0

Copy and paste I'm afraid and then highlight it and press the quote bubble if you wish to do part quotes (like my earlier one). I thought the board was going to put multi-quote in at some point but it has yet to appear.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Had a few judgemental and unnecessary comments and so closing the thread down no need for further reply.
Reading through I thought all of the comments were spot on and some excellent advice from many different posters but all with skin in the game. I too would have thought that over the last ten years you would have probably paid more in rent than you have in mortgage payments so if it wasn’t for the negative equity you are quids in.0
