The 635 appears to be a slightly newer model - possibly different firmware as all the main specs appear the same. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

634 From Currys - 1 year warranty
635 From John Lewis - 5 year warranty0 -
The Dixons group (Currys /PC World) quite often sell major manufactures models with slightly different model numbers that way they are exclusives and they don't have to offer a price match. If this is the case and the specification are otherwise the same then JL win hands down. You need to check the specs.0

Cant see any differences.
If you do buy this TV its possible the LG webtv magic Remote app will work with it on a smart phone and you dont have to but a magic remote.
Like a lot of these tv's there is no headphone socket only optical connection.0 -
Well now I've sort my finances out,
Can I ask couple more questions,
1) The LG TV has Freeview And Freesat, Can you mix the channels and see both in program guide or is it a case use 1 or other?
2) I have a second choice of a Samsung UE49MU6400 slightly dearer, just wondered if anyone had opinions on differences, which is better
3) does anyone no what processors are in these tv's0 -
I have a 49UJ670V and you tune in both the freeview and freesat but in the tools you have to select one or the other to show in the programme guide. You can swap at anytime.0

Interesting point here - I have a new LG smart tv. At present it is not yet connected to Freeview. When I tried to look at Freeview Play which is an option on the LG's smart panel, thinking this would available over the Internet (which I do have connected), I got an "error" message saying I could only use Freeview Play when I had live Freeview set up.
Speaking to my son, who has a recently new Samsung smart tv, he said he can watch Freeview Play on that, although he does not have a Freeview aerial plugged into it.
(Based on my own experience I would highly recommend taking out accidental damage insurance without whichever tv you end up buying.)0
