Moneybackloans
Just wondering if anybody has dealt with this company ,applied for a loan after seen it advertised on this site, which ive got to say is very good,i wanted a loan with the best apr,so i applied and apparently rejected for the loan, this is the first time i have ever been knocked back for credit so i was a bit surprised as i have a good credit.,however i got a phone call off freedom finance to tell me they had knocked me back for loan and they would find me a loan ,they have now since phoned back to tell me they have afew companys who are willing to accept me i asked then who they are and what is the apr is before i accept ,they told me i have to sign this form that they have emailed me then scan it with acouple of payslips and email it back before they can give me the names sounds dodgy to me,i have just looked my credit score and freedom finance are the only name that has checked it.

Moneyback is part of Alliance & Leicester.
It seems that they have an affilliates program where, if you don't meet their criteria, they pass your details on to Freedom Finance.
Freedom are brokers who try to find you a loan, but also charge a fee for their service :A fee of between 0 and 10% of the loan amount may be charged depending on credit history and ability to provide proof of income. The average amount is £720.
The loans are stated as variable rate, so payments are more than likely to increase.
They're not dodgy per se; they advertise on TV and newspapers, but they do fall into the lenders who primarily lend to those with poorer credit ratings.Dave. :wave:0 -
thank you for the reply ,i only asked about moneyback because they never checked my credit rating which i know is good it seemed strange to get refused a loan without checking my credit rating ,which freedom finance have done,i think ill give them a miss, ill try elsewhere because i have always getting loans at the lowest apr and no way will i pay them a fee0
