Mortgage approved - car

Hi there,
I'm moving my mortgage from Halifax to First Direct, who are my bank. New mortgage deal is approved and is set to draw down on Jan 3rd. My car is on the way out and I've seen one at a dealer that would be perfect. Would applying for a personal loan or dealer finance at this point jeopardise the mortgage deal?
Thanks.
