Season Ticket - Xmas

Hey,

I'm a public service worker and as such i dont have christmas off. i have bought a season ticket between theobald's grove and london zones 1-6 for dates 11th Dec 2017 - 19th Jan 2018. i was told this was 1month and 9 days of travel, which by my calculations includes xmas. it is xmas day and i need to get to work. obviously all national rail services and london transport is cancelled today. i have paid for this day though and now i need to pay extra for a taxi. can i reclaim this day on my season ticket?

As the rail/underground system has not run on Christmas day for many years and in is advertised well you should have known well in advance so other than claiming an extra day on the ticket or getting a one day refund for the 25th I cannot see how you expect them to pay the extra regarding the taxi.
