Are you going in through your Sparks account, with the 5000 points needed to get early access?

    You've just solved my problem.
    I don't have 5000 points!
I don't even have a Sparks card! :rotfl:

Guess I'll have to wait and take my chances with the hoi polloi. :)

The worst sale ever.I did not get on until 3pm and all the popular sizes had gone by then. The Sparks card is not exclusive anymore so there is no advantage. Hardly anything left.
  • I was on at 9am when I read my email. Managed to get a few bits. Went back on around midday and lots had gone, think you have to be quick with this presale.

I didn't get my email until 10.30, which was quite ironic as I'd already an email earlier telling me my order was ready for collection!

Yesterday, in store, stuff was already on rails waiting to be priced down.

The sale goes live later on this afternoon for non Sparks customers.Well there was nothing left yesterday so unless more merchandise is loaded, it's not much of a sale.

How is it that some Sparks customers got an earlier notification than others? No wonder there was nothing left if people are getting in early!

M&S ain't what it used to be.

If you are a regular shopper with M&S you should get a sparks card. You just collect points on it. Points have no value, but you do get weekly offers with the card. Its basically a loyalty card. Get to 5000 points and you get to see the sale early and you get 50% off. Think you get 10 points per £ spent and 10 points eachtime you present card. Its been running 2 years I think.

Wife was on the sale from around 10 am yesterday and ordered I think 20 items. 5 parcels have turned up at local store this morning! Originally would not arrive till 30th.

With the last couple of sales the wife has mentioned that new stuff is added once it starts. Also you will note that lots of items that were in the preview are not 50% off when the sale starts for everyone!
