OH dropped a 4 pint container of frozen milk in the drawer of my freezer, it now has a lovely crack in the plastic front of the drawer, any ideas how I can stabilise it? Did wonder about gorilla tape, would the temperature of the freezer affect it?
I doubt I can get a new drawer the freezer is a few years old, bought in 2011 I think.
Guess who cannot sleep!!

Here's some reading and gorilla tape is mentioned.

DS cracked the veggie drawer (handle) on the fridge not long after I bought it
I managed to splint it with strips of milk carton and then used white duct tape. Not as cold as a freezer but it's held up for months now. It tends to be wet that makes the tape peel off, and the freezer should be dryish if it's frozen...so I'd try taking the drawer out, drying it off completely, patching it and see what happens?0 -
It might also be worth lookin on Evilbay to see if you can get a replacement part. My OH managed to get a replacement part for my prehistoric food processorI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0

my DD managed to find me two replacement drawers for my freezer earlier this year as the fronts were cracked and broken You can buy the drawers (my fridge freezer is a bosch and 14 years old ) but they are very pricey and came to over £90.
Now I'm just waiting until I can defrost my freezer so I can replace them with the new ones.I suppose it was cheaper than buying a new freezer before I changed it my old freezer (electrolux) had wire basket type drawers which were brilliant these plastic things have a tendency to crack and shatter so easily. In fact the top drawer was so bad I removed it completely and stuff is just sat on the iceSlowly getting a bit more room in there though and I am hoping to get it almost empty enough to defrost in January.I did used to stick the fronts on with heavy duty carpet tape before I got rid of the top one .

I bought a new freezer a couple months ago and the drawers in it were exactly the same as the old one, different makes and the old one was 10 years old.
Do you have local disposal site for freezers etc? They may have one with drawers the same as yours.0 -
I superglued mine.0

My son glued ours...it was still going strong when I left it for the buyers 10 years later...and it was near the hinge too.0

Try SUGRU, mine was from amaz*n, probably available at other outlets
. It has fixed all sorts here including 2 freezer drawers and it can even fill gaps. States that it’s good down to -50c and cheaper than a new drawer!
