At least when you opened the cupboard you wouldn't have the agony of deciding what to eat0

In my store cupboard, I keep stuff like tinned tomatoes, pearl barley, pasta, rice. I buy fresh spuds and veg but will use frozen like peas. I also keep bread which I freeze (in Asda they currently have an offer on granary bread - loaves are normally 94p each but you can buy two for a £1). I use cheap cuts of meat such as brisket which I steam on top of the cooker with some water, carrots and onions, Skirt is good for stews too again I make too much and freeze the rest to make dinners for the rest of the year. I buy fruit too - usually pick your own - some I eat and the rest I'll freeze.0

Don't forget liver. I know many detest it but it's very lean and good for you. If it's cooked in the right way it is very tasty.
