Every time I start up the PC now, I get prompted with OneNote.
But MS has never given me any guidance on what it's for or how it would benefit me?
Would anyone like to enlighten me please.

There's plenty of intro guides on YouTube. It's like a digital notebook.0

Just disable it in startup, so you don't get any more prompts0

in my top10 of best apps. i have a work and personal notebook and use it all the time for taking notes"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0 -

Interesting - yet shows writing free-hand on a laptop, not applicable to me and my PC.
What it may be useful for though, is collating info that I come across that would be of help with a 'WI - ATL'.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
if you call writing with a mouse 'freehand' you can do that on a pc/laptop"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0
