Best value for travel to and out of London but different stations.

Hi

I’m traveling to Westfield from Blackwater in Hampshire this goes via London Paddington. But I’m not returning to Blackwater but to Surbiton. Is it best to get a travel card for just over £27.00 or get a single for £22.00 and use contactless for the at least 3 tube rides in London and then the train to Surbiton.

This is happening tomorrow. Yikes!

Which Westfield? Stratford or Shepherds Bush?

Or is the Westfield you mention not a shopping centre?

I would suggest travelling from Blackwater to Clapham Junc via Guildford, and then use London Overground or Southern service from CLJ to Shepherd's Bush.

On the return journey choose a train from CLJ that stops at Surbiton.

For tomorrow a Super Off Peak Day Return from Blackwater to Shepherd's Bush is £17.10.

Unless you are planning other travel around London on that day, a Travelcard is not needed.
