Isn't the principle worth more than the amount.
Like 100 people walk away from £20 and it starts becoming a large amount of money...would you let a shop charge you £21 for a £1 item.;)0 -

There has to be a tipping point where the financial loss has to balanced against the time and effort in recovering the money. I agree with the principle of not letting them get away with it, but you have to accept that trying to recover a small amount of money may not be worth the effort.
In this case we don't know how much is involved.0 -
Money is very small . Less than £1000.
