Closure of DB Scheme

I work for a large company (private) that is proposing to close the DB pension scheme. We have just completed the mandatory 60 day consultation.
What has become apparent is that the illustrations that the company sent us from the outset (i.e. what we would get before the change, what we get post change - going to a DC scheme) are incorrect. The company has today admitted in writing that these illustrations are incorrect. They have promised revised illustrations, but not given a date of when they will be provided. Capita provide the illustrations and manage the scheme.
However consultation is now over, so we no longer have the opportunity to pose questions on the correct numbers.
Do we have a legal basis to demand the company reopens consultation due to their error? I would appreciate comments.

yes there is indeed an offense of "breach of consultation" where the consultation is not done according to the relevant guidelines.
You should also bear in mind that this sort of consultation is very one sided and the company is under no obligation to take into account anything suggested by employees. They do need to be factually correct but if they have said they will provide new illustrations then I'm not sure what else can be done - obviously i am no legal or pensions expert so hopefully someone more qualified may provide betetr advice0
