Early Exit Mortgage Question

Hi there
Does anyone know if you exit your mortgage early and pay early exit fees does it affect you gettting another mortgage in the future?
I bought a flat on shared ownership that has some issues the housing company will not help sort them out, I am at my wits end and at the moment the only way out I can see is to sell and move on.
