Reduce CC Limit or not?

Hi all, I'm in the process of paying off my Credit card debts, I have been paying money to the cards and reducing the limit by a few hundred each month. I have been doing this to obviously not spend it but is this the right thing to do as I see on the credit club that your score is based on your available credit so if i keep reducing my limit my availability will still be low!.. Thanks

Best way of not spending on a credit card that I know of it to cut the card up and remove the details from any payment apps or websites.
Problem solved.
Concentrate right now on getting the debt gone and let your credit history look after itself for the time being - your priority if you have run up CC debts is to learn to budget before you even THINK about getting any further credit.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
