Looking for cheaper BTL mortgage but retired.

Hi all, I’m new to the Forum and seeking a re mortgage for my Buy to Let Mortgage whose offer I have, ends very soon.
I have looked around and realised it is possible to get much cheaper, but, I am retired which obviously will not help.
I’m happy to receive any offers of advice.

Have you spoken to a broker?
The BTL market changed massively in September. Some lenders require business plans! The affordability calculations changed from on average 125% at 5% to around 145% at 5.5%.

Added to that the retired "issue" (which is probably not a deal breaker to get a decent rate), I do think it would be worthwhile you speaking to a professional. On a side note, many of the better rates are actually only available through brokers now.
