I have been waiting for a cheque this month from Newvista and still not got it.
so have sent them a email about a week ago and they told me that they are having some problems with payments this month.
so as i still have not got my payment i have sent them another email yet to get a answer from them so does anyone know if they are in some sort of problem?

I even didnt get confirmation email (which I always get).0 -
This is the email they have just sent me.
We can confirm you have reached your 5000 points target last month, therefore you will receive your £50 cheque at the end of this month. Your cheque will be sent to your account address via second class post.
I think they have some sort of money problems.0 -

Amazing you've come to that conclusion without any actual information from them.
Their FAQs (Yes, they're there to be read) state :Once you have accumulated 5000 points we will send you a cheque for £50 at the next payment date. Thereafter, with each 5000 points you accumulate we will make a further payment of £50.
Please note that payment will only be made when your account has reached a minimum of 5000 points.
19. How does the payment process work?
If on the 29th of September your account shows 4800 points and on the 3rd of October your account shows 5300 points, your pay-out of £50 will be actioned at the end of October and paid to you within two weeks of the date actioned.
Only once you have reached the 5000 reward point marker will you be eligible to cash in your 5000 points for a £50 cheque.
Please also note that your account will only be credited with points earned on a survey that has been fully completed within the guidelines listed above (e.g. you have not failed quality control checks and you have spent the correct amount of time on any given activity).
Does this go any way to explain the delay?0 -

Thankyou for your post and yes i have seen that.
i got to the 5000 points mark back at the start of Nov so i know that i would not get payment till this month.
it does states that people get payments within 2 weeks of the new month so now we are at the 3 week mark.0 -
Have you never cashed out with them before? They always take an age. It'll turn up just when you're about to give up hope forever.Minimalist

They are part of a large group that does not appear to be in any distress

Got my December payment today. Cheque dated 21/12 letter dated 22/12.
I too emailed them last week. and got the same generic reply. When I pushed them again "I'm sorry that's all we've been told".
NVL are not good communicators to their panelists generally; nor it seems between departments.0 -
