Managed loan payments
I currently have a managed loan with HSBC which was taken out a couple of years ago and put all of my debts under one loan. I understand that I cna make extra payments into the account as and when I want to although the standard repayment is £125 per month which I have no problems paying off.
I am changing jobs currently and have taken more days holiday than I have accrued meaning I will lose some pay.
With a managed loan does anyone know if I can ask for a break in the payments as my next paycheck will only be 2 weeks wages which leaves me with very little until the first paycheck from my new job. I just want a break for 1 month.
Does anybody have any experience with this?

i have a managed loan with hsbc and they tend to be given to people in financial trouble, therefore i would doubt it, but ask the question by all means - it isn't going to harm to ask!
if they say no though, you REALLY dont want to miss a payment, might be time to stay in for a month and eat teaso value beans on toast.

Spoke to the bank this morning with success. they have agreed to move the payments by one month which is really helpful. This then extends the loan by one month only but gives me some breathing space. Maybe I can afford beans and sausages on toast instead!!!0
