Joint ownership but want out!

Hi,
Newbie here. So I purchased a flat with my brother two years ago in October. I did it as a means of helping him out and getting onto the property ladder. He has a financially secure job that pays well and can afford the mortgage himself. The question is can I sign over the house completely to him and how straight forward is it?
I
Thanks

Your brother will need to apply to do a sole remortgage. This process will then transfer the ownership from joint to sole.I am a Mortgage Broker.
You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice0 -
Presumably I will need to speak to my solicitor too in order to change the names on the missives?0

Generally the solicitor doing the remortgage for your brother will do the work for the transfer of title too. You can instruct your own solicitor to check things over from your point of view if you like, or you can choose to trust your brother and sign what you're given by his solicitorPresumably I will need to speak to my solicitor too in order to change the names on the missives?
