Tesco's secretly higher prices
Options
Today I shopped at Tesco. I found that there is quite a big discrepancy between the price tag and the actual product's price for Tesco Value Peas. The price tag says 80p per kg, the receipt says FROZEN PEAS 80p but when you check the pack it says 900g. So this makes the price 0.89p per kg which is more than 10% above the advertised price. Disguting, isn't it?
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

No it's not disgusting - it might be an error but it's OK here and their systems are robust enough to ensure consistency across the estate for a given SKU

Take it back with receipt...mention Double the Difference . You will get your money back plus 18p and probably the peas too.0

Its not nescellery disgusting the pack size may have changed and the person doing the shelf labels missed out doing the changeover. If you noticed the error you could point it out at customer services so they can get it updated (you'll probably get a refund too). When I used to work in a supermarket the person in charge of signage was one of the most stressed out in the store!0

As above.
Its probably a administration error some where down the line.
There is a good chance this issue is nationwide. If head office find out they would get it changed ASAP.0
