Nationwide Switching to Another Fixed Deal

My current mortgage (fixed deal) with Nationwide is coming to an end in May and I'm looking to remortgage.
After searching for mortgages and seeing a mortgage broker, I also realised that Nationwide offers fixed deals for existing customers with a £100 cashback incentive for staying with them with pretty much the same rates as the other ones I've seen.
Does anyone have any experiance of this and with the process? Will this be a lot less hassle than remortgaging with another provider. I was originally going to get a broker to sort out the mortgage for me but due to the price I've gone against it. Is remortgaging back yourself fairly straight forward to do?

It can all be done online and would be very easy to do.
As long as you don’t want to increase the amount borrowed or change the remaining term you don’t even have to complete your financial details.
Of course, you may be better looking elsewhere but nationwide are competitive on rates.0 -
A broker can do both for you.
They can arrange a Nationwide product transfer, or a remortgage to another lender, if that is more appropriate.I am a mortgage broker. Did it all online with nationwide and it was extremely straightforward.0
