Finance rules ??
I'm new to this so apologies if posting on a wrong thread.
So I've bought a new kitchen on fincance. Paid deposit and rest was spread over 4 years monthly payments.
We have been told that a month after the kitchen gets delivered, we will receive a letter from a finance company with regards to the finance.
We have got the Kitchen, fitted it ourselves and nearly 3 months later we still not heard anything. So we contacted the finance company for them to tell us that the supplier didn't ask THEM for the money yet hence why they not asking me for payments..
My question is, how long is the supplier of the kitchen allowed to request the money before the finance application becomes invalid ?
Like I said above, we received the goods.. but as of now, for free..
Is there a time scale of how long they allowed to leave it..
Thank you

Six years.
Why have you not contacted the kitchen company to chase it up with them?0 -
is your question actually "have I got a free kitchen"?2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000

I don't think your position is what you think it is and should carefully read your financing agreement, the one you signed before handing over the deposit. It also won't hurt to see if the supplier is still in business, may have just rolled up in which case this may get very hairy for you, or you may get a free kitchen, depends.0
