I would certainly not be spending money on a wedding or honeymoon with that much debt hanging over me, even if it is cleared by remortgaging (take on more debt to pay off debt.........).
You're best off speaking to a financial advisor who has full oversight of your accounts.0 -
Leaving something like £1450 disposable income
I'd suggest posting on the Debt Free Wannabe Forum and getting to grips with your financial affairs. As doesn't appear that you've factored in all your outgoings. Releasing another £15k of equity above and over clearing your debts. May well concern a lender. In the meantime speak to a broker and see what options are potentially available.0 -
Yeh I know it's not the best thing to do but I feel it's manageable especially as it reduces the monthly payments significantly and at a much lower interest rate0

Ive spoken to one broker and they have given some options but obviously this is before the credit check and agreement in principle stage0

I was just wondering which would be the best broker for such debt consolidation0

I do not think you are going to get suggestions for brokers for debt consolidation as to be quite honest your plan is seriously flawed. Taking out more debt when you are struggling now is not the answer.
