Morrison data services want to check FIT meter

Hi guys

Got a letter from Morissons to day who are asking to check my meter. They say it is a requirement and I am sure it is legit but wanted to check if anyone had them round

Your meter is supposed to be checked every couple of years. That's to check you're not just making up the readings.

Morrisons (not the supermarket) are one of the meter reading companies employed by the big energy companies.

Yep, I had a visit a few weeks ago. Meter inspections are standard for all types of meter, and it seems odd they can't get the usual staff to do it. They tried on spec and then asked for an appointment. No problem and they provided ID.
