Product transfer with change of circumstances

Now that the deal on my mortgage is coming to an end, I'm hoping to do a product transfer. However our circumstances have changed resulting in a drop in income. Does anyone know if Nationwide ask about changes in circumstances when doing a product transfer online? Our current payments are affordable, but the SVR will be a struggle. Thanks.
