Does anyone have a way to contact senior managers in Barclays mortgage completion?

So per a previous thread, it's now urgent our solicitor gets a letter from Barclays stating simply that 'Supplementary Condition 1' has been met. Without it, we can't exchange today.

We've all tried so hard, including our broker, but somehow it just doesn't come through, even though they've confirmed it on the phone.

So basically just making an appeal here in case any Barclays managers read this (or brokers that have a particularly close relationship with Barclays).

To clarify, we're of course still trying through the call centre and by faxed letters.

You'll be lucky. This happened on one of my applications but one step worse, it was the day before completion!

Everyone is based abroad so you not have a normal conversation.

In the end I found someone high up on LinkedIn, made an educated guess on what their email address was and I managed to get it sorted, but it has out me off using barclays ever since.

If I can find the name of the person I will pm it to you, but it won't be for an hour or 2.

I have no idea who I emailed. I just found someone on linked in who seemed high up and sent him a message. That was the last time I used barclays... they were always a bit useless but making someone complete late because they never checked all documents were on the system is not really acceptable and it was the straw that broke the camels back for me.

Ironic this has popped to the top as those customers just emailed me today.
