Nationwide doing a hard search....

We have an agreement in principle with nationwide for our mortgage. We have had an offer accepted on a house and so it's all systems go with the mortgage application!!! Nationwide have carried out a hard search on my file only (I'm higher earner) and its only visible on clearscore currently. Is it normal for them to hard search on only one applicant so far for the aip?

It should have been both of you if you are both named. Maybe it is still filtering through to show on the other applicant.0

I was declined with Nationwide. They Credit searched EQ and CC and used EXP for a ID check.0

At AIP, as I said Nationwide used EX and CC which didn't paint my credit in a good light. If you're past the AIP you should be OK.
How is that scaremongering? Just sharing my experience.0 -
Thanks everyone....yes, it was filtering through and is now showing on hubs' credit report. Mortgage application going in tomorrow morning.....so nervous! Wish us luck 0
