The thing with entering competitions, there is never ever a guarantee of a win. I have been comping for over 13 years now and up until the last couple of years had an abundance of prizes and many large value prizes.
This year I have won nothing since May (albeit that was a trip to NYC) but since then absolutely nothing, not a dot.
It is like a raffle or lottery, sometimes you will be lucky sometimes you will not. If you are beginning to get fed up maybe time to take a break.
I have read on here of people who win practically every week and I have also read of people who have not won anything for over a year. I am afraid that is the way comping goes.
Wishing you luck. The best things in life are free.....0 -

Like has been said, nothing is guaranteed in this comping life. Truth of it is, the media has made it what it is today..all those get rich quick articles has made comping seem easy and fruitful. So nowadays i can bet theres double or triple the amount of entries there would have been 3 years ago so everyones odds are reduced.
The old timers on here know its really not easy nowadays and probably never will be again.
Just keep plodding on entering and forgetting. Dont stress about what you havent won, maybe its best to take a break.0 -
The irony is I've seen everyone moaning on varies threads at some point about not winning. Also ungratefully slagging the quality of prizes!
seriously, don't take it so seriously, it's really not important just a bit of fun!

It's only 15th - there is time yet. I keep telling myself the same thing as I have won at least one small thing every month (mostly books) so far this year but nothing yet for December. We are only half way through though so I'm sure we will both have one before the year is out.0 -
I have been comping regularly since 2012, won prizes worth around £60k(including itv and cruise trip).
Since last year my winning rate dropped drastically. Won couple of weekend holidays in 2016 and 2017. My efforts remain the same.
Don't lose hope, you never what you gonna win next. GOOD LUCKWinning isn't everything, it's the only thing0
