FabriCare kit worth buying for a new DFS fabric sofa?

For those of you who have a DFS fabric ***not leather or fake leather effect*** sofa, did you buy DFS's FabriCare Kit for £25? Was/is it worth it?

Btw I know there are people here who are not fans of DFS, but I don't need to hear that their sofas are crap. Unlike those of you who aren't fans, some of us are on a really tight budget and can't afford more expensive sofas. Thanks.

If you are on a really tight budget why even consider spending £25 on snake oil?

1001 spray cleaner is £2 a bottle.

It isn't snake oil if it's guaranteed to work with their sofas. But I'm really interested to know the hard evidence to support your claim that it's snake oil.

1001 spray cleaner isn't £2, and my local supermarket doesn't even sell the right 1001 product.

Yes, tight budget - too tight to use the wrong product on a sofa.
