Extend our mortgage, do I need to tell them we have retired.

We have 3 years left of our mortgage, we retired recently. The fixed rate ends 2 years next September.
My question is do we have to inform the company that we have retired, our pension does not quite cover the mortgage so taking from a sum we have put aside to pay this. This sum is equivalent to what we owe. Don't want to loose any money by having to pay an early redemption fee.
We don't need to touch our other savings.
Thanks for your help.

You only need to tell them if you want to make any changes to your Mortgage. If you plan on keeping everything as is, then no need to tell them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
