could you wait another few months, till the probation is over (and, BTW, that probation period looks so long) and you've had a few months credit history here?

We have an IFA who is going to see what he can turn around for us. Said Halifax might be a quick solution so fingers crossed. Thanks everyone

We have been approved in principle by Halifax via a broker so fingers crossed our offer will be accepted tomorrow and then the hard work starts to pay it off!
