I think 3.50 too, thats the apprenticeship wage. £7.50 is just your bog standard minimum wage, nothing to do with apprenticeships.0 -
First year is £3.50 then after 12 months it will rise to the £7.50 (or whatever NMW is at that time).Dwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -
What everyone (apart from your sponsor) has said is correct, the rules are here https://www.gov.uk/apprenticeships-guide/pay-and-conditions0

If your sponsor thinks it's £7.50, I wouldn't argue.0

Are you also not going to argue when they claim the overpayment back???Tabbytabitha wrote: »If your sponsor thinks it's £7.50, I wouldn't argue.0 -
Min wage not a max wage.
Best not to talk in min wage or apprentice wage just how much will you be paying as long as it is more than the min then that's fine.0 -

IMO.
If it was written as min wage.. YES(if they got it wrong),
if it was written as apprentice wage of ..., maybe.
if it was written as you get paid X NO.0
