Capping inverter to 3.68kw

Hi folks,
I had a 5kw inverter installed last week. I don't have the approvals to feed in more than the 3.68 limit.
My question is - how is the 'cap' put in place? I saw the guys installing the system - they took the inverter out the manufacturer's sealed box, mounted it, plugged in - and that's it. I didn't see anything suggesting they changed a setting or anything.
While highly unlikely I'll get >3.68 with my E-W install, just want to make sure I'm not risking breaking any 'rules.'
Thanks!

Is it a Solaredge inverter? If so, I think each press of the scroll arrow/button will give you different information, and one of the pages says 'limit' (possibly top line of that page), or at least it does on mine, and next to that is 3.7kW.
Have a play and see what pops up!Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

It's a solax. I've gone through the settings - it only shows generation figures voltages etc - nothing around limits!5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
