Wow, these rings seem to be the same as those sold in Glodsmiths. Platinum diamond ring is over £600 in Goldmisths (http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/product.asp?cid=11&pid=647) only £160 in Tesco. Just a shame that Tesco direct aren't considered to be a clubcard deal, as i want!!November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post.0

super_dad If Tesco sells out of the rings i wouldnt think you be able to change it then. I would go for a larger size than you think cause then you can have a bit taken out if its too big ,if its too small they have to stretch the gold so it will be thinner round the finger.0

Why would anyone buy a diamond ring from tesco? You could take your (future) Mrs to Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world, choose a diamond yourself and get it set. The diamonds in high street shops over here are crap colour and clarity. IE they don't sparkle!
Me and my fiancee went over there, got brilliant service at http://www.philippe-harold-jewellers.be/ and came back with a flawless D colour diamond (the best colour) for half the price that it would sell for here.
Here is a better explanation of the 4 C's... http://www.philippe-harold-jewellers.be/qualityCharts.htm0
