MOJ Vetting

Hi does anyone know how long SSCL vetting takes?
I attended an interview last Summer, Was told a month later I passed the interview and I was given a conditional offer of role subject to vetting. I sent off my vetting documents straight away. It's a low level role and the checks are basic.
It's been 14 weeks now since documents were sent. I've heard nothing. Just the MOJ page says "my vetting is still in progress". I've sent numerous emails with no response.
Is there a cause for concern? I'm currently unemployed, incredibly bored and I'm keen to start as soon as possible. I've also been applying for jobs on a daily basis.

Somebody on indeed.co.uk said it could be anything up to a year but the average response appears to be about four months.0

Its just the bureaucracy of government, nothing to be concerned about. Look around for temp jobs as it could be a while!"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

I have MOJ clearance and as people say above it can take them absolute ages to do and I had the added fact that I was already SC cleared so it shouldn't have taken so long0

That's the problem. I'm struggling to get temp jobs due to two main reasons:
- I've got a disability so can't do telesales or anything with a telephone.
- I don't have enough work experience.
I have a degree and various jobs under my belt. But nothing consistent. I've been unemployed for a year and spent the entire year applying for jobs and doing voluntary work experience. Apart from the MOJ role, I keep being rejected and told they have found someone with more experience or skills suited to the role.
Recruiters don't want to know as they keep saying I don't have enough experience. But I need a job to get experience!0
